Damarli Estate is a specialty coffee plantation hidden in the mountains of Boquete, Panama. It offers its clients a wide selection of different varietals and additional experimental coffees. It is owned and managed by David Pech and his son Keith.
To support their vision towards sustainable coffee production, they apply systemic thinking: The goal for the farm is to manage and organize it in a way that is operationally profitable, socially accountable and environmentally responsible. So not only is the coffee shade grown and produced in a nature preserving way, but the workers receive good salaries and social benefits. They built a completely solar powered home on the finca.
Also they put a lot of focus on the quality of their coffees. During the season they take good care of the trees and during harvest all the coffee is hand-picked only at the peak of its ripeness.
