The farm was founded in 1995 by Benedicto Puentes Vásquez and Marghod González, who gave birth to 3 children: Benedicto junior, María Elena and Hugo Fernando Puentes. Three generations of coffee producers from the same family, in a farm where panela was grown in ancestor’s time and women used to told legends around the fireplace.
Palma joia is a coffee that grown at 1760 masl and is then worked with care and meticulousness: after being washed, it undergoes drying with air kept at a temperature below 36 degrees.
