Coffee Villa Flor is our proposal of pink bourbon grown in Colombia. Arrango family takes great care to the cherries, in order to obtain the best from their plants.
The cherries get hand sorted at picking, later again during the depulping where cherries are divided by density and size and a third time after milling process to remove defects.
Dried by sunlight, the coffee is placed on raised beds avoiding the first day’s direct sun exposure. This helps to dry the coffee, and at the same time keep attached to the parchment a big amount of mucilage. Depending on the weather conditions, this process can take between 7 and 15 days. The key point is to avoid as much as possibile the humidity gain during night.
This coffee is an explosion of aromas, freshness and brightness are able to flourish in a cup of top quality.
