Mokka (also Mocha or Moka) is one of the oldest coffee varieties we know. The short tree with small berries and with a quite low yield grows in Yemen. For many years it was believed to be a separate species, but now some recent genetic studies seem to prove that it belongs to Coffea Arabica, as a mutation of the Typica variety.
Mokka tree produces very little and tiny seeds that look more like lentils than coffee beans.
